Online Bookstore

Our dedicated volunteers curate donations to find high value books that are then offered for sale in store and online. Through their efforts, we can make the most of your donations and maximize the annual contribution we make to the Santa Monica Public Library system.

Book & Material Donations

The Santa Monica Public Library welcomes gently used books, vinyl, CDs, and DVDs for donation to the library’s collections and the Friends of the Library Bookstore. Donations are accepted at the Main Library. Please note that we do not accept galleys or screeners.
