Currently, the central courtyard and café area inside the Santa Monica Public Library main branch is closed to the public. To revitalize, renovate and reimagine this space, we need the help of Friends like you. After consulting with an architecture design firm, it has been decided that we need to raise an estimated $250,000. This ambitious goal will allow us to offer wonderful new amenities like a self-service café, literary lounge, learning kitchen and community event space. Our vision is to create a central hub for dynamic conversations and information exchange, but it will only be possible with contributions from members and volunteers like you.
